reading her very touching story in the Wilmington News Journal,
I called Nancy Proud Freebery right up to arrange a speaking
date for the women's group that I am involved with. She
promptly returned my call, and was warm and open to addressing
not just one, but two of the groups with which I am involved!
While making arrangements for the presentations, Nancy asked
very specific questions in order to gather the useful and
necessary information to gain insight into the two diverse
audiences. She was interested, focused and thorough.
As the dates approached, I received phone calls to iron
out the details of time, place, number of respondents, etc.,
and in fact, Nancy was always a step ahead of me!
Nancy arrived well in advance of the presentation time in
order to meet the audience, learn their names, and put everyone
at ease. The responses to her presentation were all positive.
Nancy was able to connect with each individual, tailoring
her comments specifically to each audience in order to maximize
the positive influence on each person in attendance.
Infused throughout every conversation with Nancy was her
caring, energetic, upbeat, and humorous personality. Caring
professional would be a perfect way to describe Nancy Proud
Freebery. She will be on my permanent speaker list for any
President IHM Home & School Association
both a professional working with disabled children and as
a mother of a child who initially struggled in school, I
found Nancy's message to be extremely positive and uplifting.
She made me laugh, cry and rejoice in the experience. She
is one of most excellent speakers I have heard in some time.
We had an overwhelming response to her first talk and had
to book her for another session to accommodate all of our
families. It is truly worth the time to hear Nancy share
her experience and her journey."

is a true inspiration. Her story is one of hope and courage
in today's world of pressure and chaos. The positive way
she learned to manage her time, energy and talent could
be molded into any of our varied personal issues. We learned
a lot from Nancy's presentation. We thank her for donating
her time to us. It takes someone truly special to share
their successes and their heartaches."

was completely refreshing to have Nancy give her perspective
from a parent's point of view. She has the ability to relate
to all people whether your child has a disability or not,
giving real life solutions that can be adopted immediately.
I also thought she did a wonderful job of sharing her challenges
as well as her successes and making parents feel at ease
and also engaging the fathers in the audience. Nancy was
energizing, inspiring and gave practical advice that pertained
to real life solutions!"
